China Paper Industry’s domestically independently developed chemical pulp displacement cooking production line has been successfully put into operation

Recently, the Yueyang Forest Paper Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Project, a domestically independently developed chemical pulp displacement cooking production line, funded by China Paper Group, was successfully put into operation. This is not only a major breakthrough in the company’s technological innovation, but also an important practice of promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries through new quality productivity.
The domestically independently developed chemical pulp displacement cooking production line project is a key energy-saving, environmental protection, and quality upgrading project promoted by Yueyang Forest Paper. It was officially approved in January 2023. Through close cooperation with energy-saving and environmental protection companies, breakthroughs in research technology and industrial application of this project have been achieved.

Chemical pulp displacement cooking has high efficiency and energy-saving characteristics. Through multiple displacement operations, its process flow can not only recover and utilize the waste heat and residual drugs from the previous cooking, but also recycle the high-temperature cooking solution at the end of cooking, effectively reducing energy consumption and chemical dosage. Compared to the traditional intermittent cooking production process, this technology significantly reduces the steam and water consumption per ton of pulp, achieving higher environmental emission standards. At the same time, the quality of the slurry produced through this production process is higher, and the required operators are reduced by 50%, which will greatly improve production efficiency and overall benefits.
